The overall success of the Volunteer Center of Story County depends on volunteers. Please consider joining a VCSC committee or the board of directors. It's a great way to improve your community, develop leadership and communication skills, and meet other caring people.

VCSC Board of Directors
The Board is the governing body of the VCSC, responsible for 
• supporting and assessing the executive director.
• managing resources, programs, and services.

Resource Development Committee
• Researches and writes grants.
• Develops and secures sponsorships.
• Assists with financial management and campaign efforts.

Communication Committee 
• Develops marketing materials,
• Manages campaign and event planning.
• Prepares the annual report.

Technology Committee
• Offers expertise concerning VCSC technology needs.

Volunteerism Committee 
• Coordinates volunteer promotion, training, and recognition.

Students in Action Committee
• Researches, develops, promotes and cultivates volunteerism and 
  civic engagement among youth.
